El debate sobre un sueldo m\u00ednimo de $15 en el condado de Montgomery ha terminado. El concejo del condado vot\u00f3 un\u00e1nimemente para aprobar un compromiso que escalonara gradualmente el sueldo m\u00ednimo hasta $15 por hora durante los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os, bas\u00e1ndose en el tama\u00f1o de la compa\u00f1\u00eda.<\/p>\n

Bajo el compromiso:<\/p>\n

  1. Compa\u00f1\u00edas grandes con m\u00e1s de 50 empleados tendr\u00e1n que pagar el nuevo sueldo m\u00ednimo en el a\u00f1o 2021.<\/li>\n
  2. Compa\u00f1\u00edas de 11 a 50 empleados tendr\u00e1n que pagar el nuevo sueldo m\u00ednimo en el a\u00f1o 2023.<\/li>\n
  3. Compa\u00f1\u00edas peque\u00f1as con menos de 11 empleados tendr\u00e1n que pagar el nuevo sueldo m\u00ednimo en
    \nel a\u00f1o 2024.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    El concejo tambi\u00e9n aprob\u00f3 una medida para vincular el nuevo sueldo m\u00ednimo a la tasa de inflaci\u00f3n para prevenir la necesidad de votar otra vez para aumentar el sueldo m\u00ednimo en el futuro.<\/p>\n

    Con la aprobaci\u00f3n de la nueva ley, el condado de Montgomery se hace en la segunda jurisdicci\u00f3n principal en la regi\u00f3n de Washington, D.C. que aumento su sueldo m\u00ednimo a $15 por hora (el concejo de D.C. vot\u00f3 el a\u00f1o pasado para aumentar su sueldo al nivel de $15 por hora en el a\u00f1o 2020).[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]\n
