Jonathan has spent his professional career advancing the rights of workers and the disadvantaged. In his 9 years as an attorney at DCWageLaw, Jonathan has recovered millions of dollars for workers in D.C. and Maryland.
Before joining DCWageLaw, Jonathan was an attorney in the General Litigation Unit of the Maryland Legal Aid Bureau. In this position, Jonathan litigated dozens of cases involving employment, landlord-tenant, consumer protection, and bankruptcy issues.
Before joining Maryland Legal Aid, Jonathan was a law clerk at the D.C. civil rights firm of Terris, Pravlik & Millian, an intern at the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia, and a volunteer with Legal Counsel for the Elderly.
Jonathan goes out of his way to provide the best possible representation to DCWageLaw’s clients, regardless of background or status. His family is from El Salvador, so he is uniquely gifted in his ability to understand and connect with DCWageLaw’s Central American clients.
In addition to speaking Spanish and English, Jonathan is fluent in German. And for some reason, he speaks English with a German accent. Seriously: We have no idea why.
